Hi, I'm Cicily!

I'm an esthetician and the face behind Velvet and Vixen. I am based in Ohio, but grew up in the hills of West Virginia. I grew up surrounded by mountain views, rich history, old folklore, and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in nature and the stories passed down through generations. That love has stayed with me and inspires so much of who I am today.

When I'm not in the treatment room, you'll probably find me with an iced coffee in hand, hanging out with my cat, playing The Sims for way too many hours, getting lost in a good romance novel, making a mess with whatever craft I've picked up that week, or out mudding with my dad whenever I get the chance.

I've always loved the darker, cozier side of life. Anything spooky, witchy, gothic, or a little macabre instantly has my attention. Antique shops, haunted history, old cemeteries, folklore—you name it. I wanted Velvet & Vixen to reflect that same feeling: cozy, calming, a little mysterious, and a space where everyone feels welcome.

I believe self-care is about so much more than looking good. While healthy, glowing skin is always the goal, taking time to care for yourself is just as important for your mind and spirit. Sometimes the best thing you can do is slow down, breathe, and let someone take care of you for a little while.

Whether you're coming in for skincare, lashes, brows, or just an hour to relax, my goal is to create an experience that leaves you feeling refreshed, confident, and a little more like yourself. I can't wait to welcome you into my space.
